~Revivication~
The series titled "REVIVICATION" is the result of the effect of recent fires that have and continue to devour our forest.
On a recent hike, I had the first-hand opportunity of seeing the extent of fire devastation. The forest looks like a black forest with trunks colored black by the burnt and ashes.
“My goal with creating this series is to focus on the regeneration of new life on the forest floor. Having seen the devastation and the resulting mudslide of the aftereffect was discouraging.
As we hiked, I notice the germinating seedily peeking thru the dead leaves and trees. From ashes comes new life…the cycle of life.”
